Vertical piping support
Pipe Support TK is a fixture to prevent buckling of the bottom floor elbow in vertical piping by eliminating the "load caused by the weight of the pipe itself," which is the cause of buckling, and reducing the "load caused by thermal expansion and contraction of copper pipe" by half.

☆Load due to the weight of the pipe itself is eliminated
Pipe Support TK eliminates the load caused by the dead weight of the piping by brazing the copper pipe itself, instead of supporting it as in the conventional method.
☆Half the load due to thermal expansion and contraction of copper pipes
In the conventional method, thermal expansion and contraction of copper pipes during heating operation places a load on the elbow of the lowest floor by the amount of thermal expansion and contraction. Pipe Support TK is installed in the center of the pipe length, and thermal expansion and contraction is released in both vertical and horizontal directions using the installation position as a fulcrum, thereby reducing the load due to thermal expansion and contraction by half. This reduces the installation space required for the thermal expansion and contraction treatment method (expansion curved pipe [expansion loop, expansion offset]) at the vertical-up and vertical-down sections.
☆Possible to retrofit
Pipe Support TK is not a "cylindrical shape" but a "split shape," so it can be installed after the vertical piping has been installed. This makes it easy to adjust the installation position.
☆ Temporary fixing is possible.
The pipe support is equipped with claws to enable temporary fixing of the pipe to the copper pipe. This makes it easy to braze copper pipes.
☆Easy positioning
The base bracket to which the fixing band is attached has long holes for easy fine adjustment of the mounting position.
Caution
-This product is for air-conditioning piping. Do not use for refrigeration piping.
-Piping Support TK is required for each level. Use a flexible piping band (our part No. HBR) to support the piping.
-When installing Pipe Support TK, be sure to use base fittings. Do not use quill bolts, etc., as they are not strong enough.
-When brazing the upper and lower copper pipes after installing Pipe Support TK, be sure to insulate the copper pipes by wrapping a wet towel around them to prevent the coating on the fixing band from melting due to the residual heat of the brazing process.
-If there is a possibility of damage to the elbow at the vertical-up and vertical-down portions of the piping, use expansion curved pipe (expansion loop, expansion offset), etc., in consideration of thermal expansion and contraction of the copper pipe.
